The former location of the long-forgotten York Valley Inn, which sits on land once granted to William Penn, will soon be the new home for Fallbrook Flats, a multi-unit community partnership between Inch & Co. and Integrated Development Partners. The 7-acre property is located at 3883 East Market Street, in York, PA and has sat vacant for nearly two decades.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held earlier this week. “It’s going to be great for young business professionals looking to commute to Lancaster or downtown York, as well as those who are retired and looking for a low maintenance housing option.”, said Jeff Inch, owner of Inch & Co.
Marty, a current local resident, said, “I’m very happy that someone is finally going to put this large lot of land to good use. I’m excited for this upgrade.”
The community will feature 150 units in five 3 story buildings. There will be 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, 1 or 2 baths per unit, private balconies, laundry facilities in each unit, a clubhouse, a fitness center, and a community room available to residents. Interior finishes will include quartz countertops and shaker style cabinets. Fallbrook Flats is expected to start taking reservations in January 2023 and be move-in ready by early Summer of next year.
