Inch & Co. Construction is excited to announce that we have officially broken ground on our newest apartment complex in Mt. Wolf Borough. 

The new 11.5 acre community will be Mt. Wolf’s first apartment complex of its kind, nestled just outside the Northeastern High School stadium. This is a big change for a small town with limited room for new construction. 

Joined by the Mayor of Mt. Wolf, Maureen Starner, Inch & Co. held a groundbreaking ceremony where we discussed our vision for this rapidly growing small-town community. Our goal for this project is to create a community where renters can come together and be part of the community. We imagine many of the residents here will play a big part in supporting the school and its students and athletes.

On Saturday, February 19th Eagle Fire Company was able to host a top notch acquired structure burn. A number of local fire departments conducting fire safety training on the land and inside the vacant home currently residing on the property. This burn opportunity took planning from multiple agencies ranging from land owners, DEP, Fire companies, and local elected officials.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to provide a training location for these first responders who dedicate their lives to assisting our community.” Said John Inch Jr.  

Multiple local fire departments began training in early February. Training involved a classroom session and then an onsite dry run to prepare for the structure burn. The culminating event took place during a live fire event of an acquired structure. This fire event allow participants first-hand experience of what happens during different stages of live fire in a structure. 

State Fire Academy Instructor John Fogg and his group provided first-hand knowledge of fire behavior, growth, fire attack and many other training pieces. Members from Stations 21, 22, 26, and 41 were able to pick the brains of these instructors and gain valuable information that will be passed onto other firefighters at their respective departments. 

An experience like this does not happen overnight and it does not happen without the help and dedication from the community. We would like to extend a special thank you to Inch & Co. for the opportunity to train at the house. We would like to thank Angelo’s Pizza & Subs and Parma Pizza for helping to feed everyone during the 3 different trainings. Thank you to Gingerich Outdoor Supply for donating stone to help with our footing and help ensure a safe working environment. Thank you to Maureen Keane Starner and Mt. Wolf Borough for allowing this event to take place. While this event was taking place Wrightsville Fire & Rescue Company 41 was providing protection so that everyone could participate. Special thank you to Manchester Ambulance Club for providing an Ambulance and trained personal for the training. 

We fully understand the magnitude of this opportunity and also the novelty of this type of event. Knowing this is possibly a “once in a lifetime” chance to learn first-hand about how to protect life and property to better serve our communities in the event that a tragedy like this could occur.

The Mt. Wolf apartments will feature 170 units within 4-stories and elevator access. There will be 1-3 beds, 1-2 baths, laundry in each apartment, garages for rent, and a club house, pet spa and fitness center available to renters. The most unique luxury-style features of the complex are the 9ft ceilings, granite countertops, shaker style cabinets, private balconies, and of course beautiful views. The community will also have 24-hour security.
